Good Books?

I am looking for some good books to read.  I have been reading The Power of a Praying Mother recently and I am enjoying praying over specific areas for my children.

Do you have any suggestions as to what I should get at the library?  Fiction or non-fiction, I would love to hear from all of you that check out this blog.  Sometimes the library is so overwhelming to me and I don't even know where to begin!

I am looking forward to some great suggestions!

My all time favorite book is Count of Monte Cristo... if you haven't read it- I'd for sure recommend it! I love it.... other than that... hmm... I really like the Goldy Bear culinary Mysteries... it's about a caterer who solves mysteries- but within the book are lots of recipes... it's written by Diane Mott Davidson. Right now I have, "Queen Bees and Wannabees" on my nightstand and have read most of it. It's a good (scary) look into the GIRL world. Other than that- I'll keep thinking! :)

Oh- have you read "Peace Like a River" by Leif Enger? it's good...

Well... I could tell you all the ones that I have enjoyed recently, but I am pretty sure you don't get into desert plantets with giant worms......

So, I am almost done with Tuesdays with Morrie and highly recommend it. I also enjoyed East of Eden by Steinbeck recently.

I have just been reading through the Mark of the Lion series by Francine Rivers. They are historial fiction set at about 70AD. The first couple chapters of the first book were a little slow but then I could barely put it down. It is really intriguing too as it is dipicts what Jeruselem and Rome were like at that time. I read alot so if you even need any suggestions, let me know. Learning to Fly by Roxanne Henke is a good book too. It is fiction book about being a mom.
