It's official...

I sent off all the paperwork today!
What's next?

We wait for about two weeks until all of it reaches Ethiopia. Then we wait for a referral call or email saying that they have two little boys or a boy and a girl for us.

Then we wait for a court date...

Then we travel over there to get them.

Time frame?

I have no idea! We could have them this summer or this fall. There are so many factors in international adoption that you are to expect the unexpected.

I feel "paper pregnant" as one of my friends referred to it. I don't think I will even have to wait 9 months...AND I won't have to get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom:)

If you can't tell...I am really excited!

Congratulations!! I am so excited for ya'll, and am praying for God's perfect timing and provision. Thank you for living this out: "Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction." (James 1:27) You have exhibited the love of Christ and power of the Gospel by caring for the orphan. What a beautiful display of Grace! In Him, Pastor Matthew

Wow! I am so excited that you are already sending in your paperwork. As I was reading your post, I was reflecting on our journey too and the day that we sent all of our paperwork in. What a special day that was! Can't wait to see how God will unfold His plan for your little ones!!!! Rejoicing with you!!!!
